Supported By High Gold Prices, Hartadinata Raises Revenue Of IDR 6.92 Trillion

JAKARTA PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA) recorded revenue of Rp6.92 trillion in 2022 or grew 32.08 percent yoy from Rp5.24 trillion in 2021.

President Director of HRTA, Sandra Sunanto revealed that revenue growth was supported by an increase in sales in pure gold by 26.83 percent YoY to 7.75 tons in 2022 from 6.11 tons in 2021, as well as an increase in average selling price (ASP) of 4.07 percent YoY to IDR 880,922 in 2022 from IDR 846,493 in 2021.

Meanwhile, net profit was recorded at IDR 253.52 billion in 2022, an increase of 30.70 percent YoY from IDR 193.98 billion in 2021, while NPM was maintained at the level of 3.66 percent.

Sales to wholesale contributed 90.85 percent, followed by retail sales of 7.82 percent and pawns of 1.07 percent.

On the other hand, ROA and ROE grew to the level of 6.59 percent and 14.72 percent. Also, DER managed to drop to 1.23x in 2022. Along with the increase in the contribution of EmasKITA and Kencana products, operating cash flow was recorded as positive at the end of 2022.

"This achievement is the result of the success of the Management strategy during 2022 through the innovations that have been carried out by Management, one of which is the latest EmasKITA with the BullionProtect chain feature which is the pioneer of security innovations in gold bullion," he told the media, Friday, March 31.

On the other hand, HRTA has also succeeded in extensifying its marketing network with its own outlet expansion reaching a total of 78 stores by 2022.

HRTA also continues to complement the supply chain business at the midstream level by establishing a subsidiary of gold refining (refinery) through PT Emas Murni Abadi, where HRTA has succeeded in strengthening its position as the most integrated gold and gold bullion jewelry company from the intermediate industry (midstream) to the downstream industry in Indonesia.
