JAKARTA - The Ministry of PUPR has opened its voice regarding the progress of the Gilimanuk- Mengwi Toll Road construction.

Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of PUPR, Danang Parikesit, said that currently the construction of the toll road is still waiting for financing support from banks or financial close.

"I think, when we talk about the progress of the construction, right, someone must pay for planning financing. So, we will wait for the financial closure," Danang told reporters at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 28.

Danang said that the Gilimanuk-Menginwi Toll Road project had been signed by the Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT) on March 8, 2022.

The Gilimanuk- Mengwi Toll Road project is planned to consist of three sections. The first section is the Gilimanuk-Pekutat segment, the second section of Pekutatan-Soka, and the last section is Soka-Menwi.
