JAKARTA - PT Bukit Asam (PTBA) through its subsidiary PT Satria Bahana Sarana (SBS) managed to record a profit of IDR 135.2 billion, an increase of 432 percent year on year (yoy) throughout 2022.

Furthermore, he said, the company's revenue also increased 172 percent in 2022, which was IDR 2.35 trillion compared to 2021 which was only IDR 1.37 trillion.
"In 2021, PT SBS posted a net loss of IDR 40.7 billion," said Agus.
According to Agus, the increase in PT SBS' profit was influenced by an increase in production volume by 35 percent from 32,159,902 Bank Cubic Meters (BCM) to 43,287,346 BCM, and a new tariff.
In 2021, PT SBS is known to have produced land amounting to 25,759,121 BCM and coal amounting to 8,064,970 tons.
Meanwhile, in 2022, the company will experience an increase in land production by 37,886,907 BCM and Coal by 6,804,553 tons.
"The thing that causes an increase in profit in 2022 is an increase in production volume and a new tariff of 16368," explained Agus.
