General Manager of PLN UID Jakarta Raya Doddy B. Pangaribuan revealed that PLN is ready to maintain electricity supply in order to maintain the comfort of Muslims during Ramadan worship.
"The month of Ramadan is certainly the month that all Muslims have been waiting for. The comfort of worshiping PLN customers is our priority," said Doddy to reporters, Wednesday, March 22.
Doddy explained that the joint personnel consisted of employees, technical service officers, officers from the Rapid Response Unit, Command Center officers, and sub-district Substation reliability officers monitored and ensured the reliability of electricity supply to customers' homes.
In addition, said Doddy, PLN UID Jakarta Raya also alerted various standby supporting equipment including 10 units of Mobile Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), 9 Mobile Cable Units (UKB), and 38 Mobile Substation Units (UGB),

"A total of 454 locations are spread throughout the work area of PLN UID Greater Jakarta as monitoring locations on the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr alerts this year, with the Istiqlal Mosque being the main location," he said.
The peak load during Ramadan is estimated to reach 5,413 Mega Watt (MW) during the day on April 10, 2023 and 4,902 MW on the evening of April 4, 2023.
