The Ratification Of The Job Creation Perppu Is Called The Answer To The Facilities Of The Business World

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that the formal review of the Job Creation Law on the decisions of the Constitutional Court for the past two years has increased the space for uncertainty in the domestic business world.

According to him, within that period the government is not allowed to issue strategic regulations that have a broad impact.

"This creates uncertainty for investors or business actors and decides to wait and see related for the decision to invest," he said at the Plenary Meeting at the DPR today, Tuesday, March 21.

Therefore, Airlangga said that the ratification of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation is believed to be the best way to produce effective solutions.

"This will provide legal certainty, encourage investment," he said.

Meanwhile, the DPR finally approved the ratification of the Job Creation Perppu into law in today's trial decision.

It was noted that the ratification agenda involved 380 of the 575 council members with 75 members who were physically present and 210 members virtually and a permit of 95 members.
