JAKARTA - Commission IV of the DPR chose to postpone a working meeting with the Minister of Agriculture, the President Director of Bulog, the Managing Director of ID FOOD, and the President Director of Pupuk Indonesia. This is because the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo and two echelon one officials were not present at the meeting.

The meeting was scheduled to discuss the automatic budget proposal for 2023, following up on the results of working visits and food supplies ahead of Ramadan.

"After taking input from several factions and leaders, we decided that the meeting would be postponed," said Chairman of Commission IV of the DPR, Sudin, at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Monday, March 20.

Initially, Sadin admitted that the Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, had asked for permission not to attend today's working meeting. This is because the person concerned has to go to Papua to accompany President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Furthermore, Sudin admitted to giving permission. However, he gave two conditions that must be met by the Minister of Agriculture. First, giving an official letter to commission IV to be represented by the Deputy Minister. Second, all echelons 1 must be present.

"Today there are two who did not attend. But it is very important to visit the regions more important than attend today's working meeting," he said.
