Sales Of New Homecoming Train Tickets Sold For Less Than 300 Thousand, KAI: Will Still Increase

PT Kereta Api (Persero) or KAI recorded long-distance train tickets for Lebaran 2023 Transportation which had been sold as many as 299,782 seats. However, there are still many remaining from a total of 1,129,389 seats provided.

The ticket sales were based on monitoring on March 8, 2023, at 08.00 WIB.

"The number will still increase, because sales are still ongoing," said KAI VP Public Relations Joni Martinus in an official statement, Wednesday, March 8.

Joni said the favorite relationship so far is from Jakarta or West Java to Central Java and East Java or better known for the flow of homecoming.

Meanwhile, based on the date of departure, the favorite trains were ordered, including April 20, 2023 as much as 50 percent; April 21, 2023 as much as 47 percent; and April 19, 2023 as much as 43 percent.

"KAI hopes that the community can plan their journey well because the train tickets for the Eid Transport period are still quite widely available," he said.
