Starting To Be Built In 2024, This Is The Relocation Area Of The Pertamina Plumpang Depot

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir revealed that he would transfer the Plumpang Fuel Oil Terminal (TBBM) to PT Pelindo's land.

However, Erick was reluctant to specify the location where this terminal would be moved. The location has been met with the Directors of Pertamina, the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, and the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta.

"We have had a meeting with BUMN together with Pertamina that in accordance with the discussion with the president, we have also transferred the Plumpang fuel terminal to Pelindo land, which we closed two years ago on Pelindo land," he said at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs, Monday, March 6.

Meanwhile, Spokesperson for the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Marves) as well as Commissioner of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo, Jodi Mahardi revealed that the location Erick Thohir was owned by Pelindo which is located in Kalibaru and is a reclamation area of 32x2 hectares.

"It has actually been prepared by Pelindo from 2 years ago," he said when met at the Kemenkomarves Building, Monday, March 6.

Jodi estimates that Pertamina's land needed for relocation may only be 30 hectares and is ready to be used by Pertamina. Regarding transactions and land ownership in the future, Jody did not comment because he admitted that he did not know the details.

"For that I don't know the details (buy or rent). There are 32 ha times 2. The land is reclamation land for development. First, I don't need up to 32. For Pertamina's needs, the terminal (BBM) is at least 30 hectares," concluded Jodi.

Previously, Erick Thohir revealed that his party had coordinated with PT Pelindo and would begin construction at the end of 2024.

The announcement of this TBBM will take 2 to 2.5 years.

"This means that there is still approximately 3.5 years. Therefore, we ensure and we want the support of local governments and the community because this is part of the protection of the community that is encouraged by the President," explained Erick.
