Many Enthusiasts, Panoramic Train Occupancy Reaches 117 Percent

JAKARTA - The Panoramic train has proven to have many enthusiasts. This can be seen from the occupancy rate or train occupancy which added 117 percent in February 2023.

KAI's VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus said the Panoramic Train occupancy in the period in February reached 117 percent or there were 711 customers.

The details consist of 405 train customers Argo Wilis Panoramic Bandung - Surabaya Gubeng pp relations and 306 Argo Parahyangan Panoramic train customers with Gambir-Bandung pp relations.

"The seating occupancy is 117 percent or more than 100 percent," he said on the way from the Panoramic Train to Bandung, Monday, March 6.

Furthermore, Joni explained that the Panoramic Train occupancy rate could reach 117 percent due to dynamic passengers. So, continued Joni, when there are passengers who get off the chair, they are filled by other passengers.

"How come it can be more than 100 percent? Because passengers are dynamic. For example, Panoramic Bandung-Surabaya there are passengers taking down the middle of the road, such as Solo or other stations, such as Solo or filled with other passengers. So that the occupancy is more than 100 percent," he explained.

Joni said, the Panoramic Train travel pattern is the same as other travel trains where there are two travel patterns, namely the FIT (oriented) pattern and charter or charter pattern.

1. Argo Parahyangan Panoramic (44Pc) train departing Gambir at 04.55 and arriving in Bandung at 07.52 (traveling on Friday)

2. Argo Wilis Panoramic (6Pc) train departs in Bandung at 08.15 and arrives in Surabaya Gubeng at 18.10 (traveling on Friday)

3. Argo Wilis Panoramic (5Pc) train departs from Surabaya Gubeng at 07.30 and arrives in Bandung at 17.25 (traveling on Sunday)

4. Argo Parahyangan Panoramic train (51Pc) departs for Bandung at 18.15 and arrives at Gambir at 21.19 (Thiking on Sunday).
