PLN Collaborates With ATPM And Dealers, Purchases Of Electric Cars Will Get Free Home Charging Installation Services

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) cooperates with Brand Holder Sole Agents (ATPM) and electric vehicle dealers so that every purchase of an electric vehicle will immediately get a free home charging installation service from PLN.

"So every time there is a buyer of an electric vehicle, PLN officers will go straight to the buyer's house to install home charging so that they can be more comfortable using electric vehicles," said PLN Main Director Darmawan Prasodjo to the media, Saturday 25 February.

He continued, PLN continues to provide various conveniences for electric vehicle (EV) users, one of which is through the electric vehicle charging service at home or home charging.

PLN recommends that the minimum electric power needed to charge electric vehicles at home is at least 7,700 Volt Ampere (VA) for cars. To meet these customer needs, PLN presents the Super Everyday promo, which is a new connection (PB) promo for charging at home or home charging.

This promo can be followed by all tariff groups of PLN customers, with details of 1 Phase low voltage (TR) customers up to 7,700 VA power and 3 Phase TR Customers up to 13,200 VA power.

Through this promo, customers get a special price where a 1-phase customer with a final power option of 7,700 VA only pays IDR 850,000 from the normal price of around IDR 7.49 million. Meanwhile, 3-phase customers with a final power option of 13,200 VA only pay IDR 3.5 million from the normal price of around IDR 14.6 million.

Customers will also get a 30 percent discount on electricity rates from 22.00 WIB - 05.00 WIB from using home charging.

This home charging service is also connected to the Electric Vehicle Digital Services (EVDS) provided by PLN. Customers can set the charging time to see the charging history of electric vehicles.
