Intermediation Performance Pacu, Bank Mandiri Holds Property Expo 2023

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk is known to have just opened a property expo titled Find Your Property (FYP) Fest 2023 which took place from 13-19 February 2023 at Menara Mandiri Sudirman, Jakarta.

Bank Mandiri SVP Consumer Loans Dessy Wahyuni said this important step was aimed at strengthening the housing ownership loan (KPR) business line which is also part of the implementation of the banking intermediation function.

"We remain optimistic about the increasing growth in mortgages in line with the economic growth and purchasing power of the people," he said when giving a written statement, Monday, February 13.

According to Dessy, in this event, his party offered 68 Projects from the 25 Groups that develop the best property assets in the Jabodetabek area from trusted developer partners.

"Reflecting on the implementation of the property event which was held in 2022, which succeeded in capturing the enthusiasm of the community to be high in finding ideal housing. Especially among employees who are eyeing the first house as a place to live," he said.

Dessy added that the company also offers various promotional programs to further increase the enthusiasm of consumers to have the best housing.

"We also provide easy facilities and services so that they can further complement customer needs," he said.

Dessy explained, until the end of 2022 Bank Mandiri had distributed mortgages of IDR 50.1 trillion. This figure is up 8.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021 (year on year/yoy).

The incision also contributed to the increase in the company's consumer credit which grew 11.6 percent yoy to Rp102.8 trillion at the end of last year.

"After distributing around IDR 50.1 trillion as of December 2022, we hope that this event can be utilized as optimally as possible by customers, especially in the Jabodetabek area to get the best property assets and encourage Bank Mandiri mortgage growth to be positive," said Dessy.
