67 Bekasi District Infrastructure Activity Packages Auctioned

JAKARTA - The Bekasi Regency Government, West Java, has opened an auction process for 67 infrastructure packages. Where coming from several local regional apparatus organizations to accelerate development in 2023.

"A total of 67 activities have started the auction process. At this early stage, most of the auctions are for consulting services for physical services", said the Head of the Goods and Services Procurement Section at the Regional Secretariat of Bekasi Regency, Iman Nugraha, quoting Antara, Sunday, February 12.

He said several regional apparatuses that had submitted documents for the auction stages of this project included the Cipta Karya and Spatial Planning Office, the Public Housing, Settlement Area and Land Affairs Office, as well as the Water Resources, Highways and Construction Bina Services Office.

"Besides that, there are also procurements from the Social Service and the Branch Bungin Hospital that are entering the bidding process", he said.

Iman said that the auction for consulting services was carried out as part of the initial stages of construction work so that when the work was done, it could produce better quality.

His party ensures optimization of the time for the auction for consulting services so that it can be immediately followed up with a physical work auction as a realization of the commitment to accelerate development as well as increase budget absorption.

"We make it as fast as possible for the sake of accelerating development so that the results can be enjoyed by the community immediately, but while still prioritizing orderly administration and documents so that work results are also maximized", he said.

Head of the Bekasi Regency Water Resources, Highways and Construction Services Office, Henri Lincoln, explained that his party had processed 29 activities for the auction of consultant services.

"We are just in the process of consulting services. To accelerate development, especially roads, drainage and bridges. We are trying to be able to enter the physical work tender process at the end of February or early March", he said.

His party is also maximizing the construction sector budget with the aim that the community can feel the benefits of development which is one of the regional government's priority work programs this year.

"We also have to prioritize the administration to be prudent in the use of regional finances. There should be no loss to the state. Therefore, there must be several stages that must be passed to get good and maximum work results", he said.
