Pertamina Joins The Production Target And Oil And Gas Lifting In 2023

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) has increased the oil and gas lifting target in 2023 by five percent.

President Director of PT Pertamina, Nicke Widyawati, detailed that oil and gas production in 2022 is 1.018 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD). Then in 2023 it is targeted at 1.055 million BOEPD.

"Our oil and gas production for equivalence with barrels of oil per day is 1 million oil and gas in 2022, we can produce every day. In which 2023 it will increase 5 percent to 1,055,150 equivalent oils per day," he said in a hearing with Commission VII DPR RI, Tuesday, February 7.

Nicke continued, Pertamina also increased the lifting target by 5 percent from 2022 which was pegged at 887,000 BOEPD to 900.000 BOEPD.

"With the target of increasing oil production to 1 million BOEPD and gas to 12 TCF in 2030, until 2030, the budget allocation for Capex on Pertamina groups is mostly allocated to upstream. Some of our ebsars are allocated," said Nicke.

It is known, in the previous RDP with Commission VI, Nicke revealed, oil and gas production of upstream subholding throughout 2022 has reached 1.018 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (MBOEPD).

With details of oil production of 566,000 barrels per day and gas of 2,600 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD).

Nicke said oil and gas production throughout 2022 reached 1.018 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (MBOEPD).

This achievement exceeded the RKAP 2022 target which was set at 992,000 barrels of oil equivalent (MBOEPD).
