Arifin Tasrif detailed that the highest PNBP was contributed by the mineral and new coal sector (minerba) amounting to Ro183.4 trillion, which was previously targeted at only Rp101.8 trillion.

The second highest PNBP contributor was followed by the oil and gas sector of IDR 148.7 trillion, New Renewable Energy (EBT) of IDR 1.6 trillion and others of IDR 11.4 trillion.

Despite exceeding the specified target, Arifin continued, his party is still anticipating a decline in commodity prices in 2023.

"In 2023 we anticipate a decline in commodity prices. We will see the development later," continued Arifin.

He predicts commodity prices in 2023 will not be higher than the previous year.

This year's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources targets to reap PNBP of IDR 219 trillion or low on the realization in 2022.

"Anticipate the decline in commodity prices by setting a conservative figure of IDR 219 trillion," concluded Arifin.

The PNBP targets for each sector include the oil and gas sector of IDR 131.2 trillion, the mineral and coal sector of IDR 85.2 trillion, the EBTKE sector of IDR 1.8 trillion and other sectors of IDR 1.2 trillion.
