Commemorating The National K3 Month, PP Presisi Won An Award At Weda Bay Nickel Project

JAKARTA - In order to celebrate the National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) month, PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) has carried out a National OHS celebration ceremony on Thursday 12 January, in several projects undertaken by the Company, especially the Hengjaya Nickel and Weda Bay Nickel projects. This is PPRE's main project in the mining business line.

PPRE also won an award given by Weda Bay Nickel in the form of a charter for the Company's achievements, especially "2nd place for Best Performance Contractor" and also "Safety Achievement: 2,000,000 Manhours Work Without Lost Time Accident".

This award was won because PT PP Presisi Tbk has always made the elements of Occupational Safety and Health in the field a top priority. This is also supported by the commitment of stakeholders in each project to make safety the most important thing.

"This charter is also a concrete manifestation of the Company's responsibility in prioritizing HSE aspects in each of its activities. PT PP Presisi Tbk, he continued, continues to strive to always comply with applicable regulations regarding HSE aspects in each of its jobs, which is of course reflected in the existence of strict management policies and regulations related to K3L (Occupational Health and Safety Environment) which are currently in place. owned by the Company, and routinely carry out QHSE audits to all projects spread across Indonesia.

"Apart from the policies and regulations that have been made by the Company, stakeholders are also always given insight regarding the importance of HSE aspects in work. PPRE gives authority to employees to voice "stop work" or temporary termination of activities when employees find activities that have been evaluated to have the potential to cause harm. dangerous," he said.

Regulations for the implementation of K3 in Indonesia, namely Law Number 1 of 1970 concerning Work Safety, Law (UU) Number 1 of 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, and Government Regulation (PP) Number 50 of 2012 concerning Implementation of the K3 Management System and regulations for implementing the National K3 month in 2023 which is regulated in regulation no. 135 of 2022, the Ministry of Manpower implements the 2023 National K3 theme which reads "Creating Decent Work with an OHS Culture to Support Business Continuity in Every Workplace".
