What Is The MSME PLUT INAUGURATED By Vice President Ma Ruf Amin?

YOGYAKARTA - What is PLUT UMKM is one of the work programs of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) to encourage MSMEs to advance to class.

Vice President Maruf Amin on Tuesday 27 December 2022 inaugurated simultaneously six Integrated Business Service Centers (PLUT) for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Micro Enterprises (KUMKM) spread across various regencies/cities in Indonesia.

The six PLUTs inaugurated were PLUT Semarang Regency, Central Java, PLUT Buleleng Regency, Bali; PLUT Purworejo Regency, Central Java; PLUT Dairi Regency, North Sumatra; PLUT Maros Regency, South Sulawesi; and PLUT Kotamadya Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi.

The inauguration of the cooperative and MSME integrated service center was carried out at the PLUT Semarang Regency, Central Java.

PLUT UMKM is one of the strategic programs of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs by providing inclusive and empowering business assistance to cooperatives, MSMEs, and entrepreneurs comprehensively and integrated and technology-based, which have been running since 2014.

This program began to be implemented in line with the issuance of the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Regulation (Permenkop UKM) Number 9 of 2013 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of the Integrated Business Service Center Program for Cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises through the Assistance Task of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises in 2014.

Adapted from ANTARA, to date, as many as 74 units of PLUT KUMKM have been built spread across 74 regencies/cities throughout Indonesia.

The KUMKM PLUT program was initiated by the central government and its realization was carried out together with local governments.

According to the Ministerial Regulation, PLUT includes assistance tasks given by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs to local governments. The central government asks the local government to sort out funds from the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for the benefit of PLUT.

On the other hand, the central government also authorized the local government to manage the PLUT. However, the central government is still preparing a budget to assist the establishment of the PLUT operational building.
