JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Executive GM Sulawesi Erwin Dwiyanto appealed to people in North Sulawesi Province (Sulut) to use quality fuel oil (BBM).

"Especially when going home, you will definitely travel quite far, so by using quality fuel, the journey will be safer," said Erwin, in Manado, quoted from Antara, Monday, December 26.

He said the public is expected that during the trip there will be no problems with vehicle engines, they can purchase quality fuels such as the Pertamax Series and Dex Series.

"As we noted for consumption at the Christmas and New Year's moment ago, a very sharp increase occurred in the Pertamax Series product, an increase of a total of 110 percent and Dex Series increased by a total of 51 percent compared to normal daily at the time," he explained.

This, he said, proves that the people of Sulawesi are aware of the use of quality fuel for long trips and are expected to be applied continuously using fuel according to the vehicle book manual on daily consumption so that the engine is maintained.
