JAKARTA - The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) together with the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police (Korlantas) and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN) signed a cooperation agreement to distribute fuel oil (BBM) more targeted.

This cooperation agreement is specifically for the distribution of certain types of diesel fuel (JBT) and Pertalite Special Assignment Fuel Types (JBKP).

President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Alfian Nasution said, this collaboration is very important because the need for subsidized fuel and fuel assignments every year is increasing.

"We have actually carried out control efforts for a long time with nozzle digitization and currently using MyPertamina. So that there is data synergy with Korlantas, distribution will be more targeted," said Alfian to the media, Wednesday, December 14.

He continued, this collaboration will serve as a guideline in integrating, coordinating and synergizing BPH Migas, the Indonesian National Police and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga in utilizing Motor Vehicle Data in regulating and controlling Solar and Pertalite User Consumers.

The scope of this collaboration involves: data exchange and/or information, utilization of motorized vehicle data in setting and controlling JBT and JBKP users as well as utilizing facilities and infrastructure.

In this cooperation agreement, it is hoped that PT Pertamina Patra Niaga and Polri can support and facilitate data exchange and/or information in the context of utilizing Motor Vehicle Data in the Regulation and Control of JBT and JBKP User Consumers.

Then, the implementation of Motor Vehicle Data verification from the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police regarding consumers using JBT and JBKP to be integrated into the Information Technology system in accordance with the provisions of the legislation, and support in the context of regulating and controlling JBT and JBKP consumers so that they are right on target.

"This cooperation agreement is a monumental and strategic legal product. The similarity of data can increase community compliance in the use of subsidized fuel which can later have a good impact on the use of the APBN appropriately," said the Head of Traffic Police, Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi.
