INDI 4.0 Award 2022 Is Proof Of The National Manufacturing Sector For Digital Transformation

JAKARTA - As a tangible manifestation of the government's support and appreciation for national industry players who have carried out digital transformation, the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) has successfully held an award for the Indonesia Industry 4.0 Readiness Index (INDI 4.0) Award in 2022.

Dalam rangkaian agenda ini, Kemenperin juga menunjuk lighthouse industri 4.0 di Indonesia dan memberikan penghargaan Rintisan Teknologi Industri tahun 2022.

This national agenda initiative was launched by President Joko Widodo on April 4, 2018.

"In supporting Making Indonesia 4.0 activities, the government has issued Presidential Regulation Number 18 of 2020 concerning the National Medium Development Plan (RPJMN) for 2020-2024, one of the major projects is the expansion and utilization of industry 4.0 to increase productivity, efficiency, contribution of added value, competitiveness, and sustainability of the national industry," said Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry Dody Widodo, in Jakarta, Friday, December 9.

The implementation of the INDI 4.0 Award in 2022 is an effort by the Ministry of Industry to show the community the rapid development of industrial implementation 4.0 nationally, as well as the achievement of industrial transformation 4.0 travel in the manufacturing sector.

In addition, this award is also a momentum that can be a place to prove to the world the ability of the manufacturing sector in Indonesia in an effort to transform industry 4.0.

"INDI 4.0 is a reference index for industry and the government in measuring the level of industry readiness to transform towards industry 4.0 in Indonesia," said Dody.

INDI 4.0 consists of five pillars and 17 fields, which include pillars of management and organization, pillars of people and culture, pillars of products and services, pillars of technology, and pillars of factory operations.

Not only that, IDI 4.0 also has five levels in its achievements, including level 0 (not ready), level 1 (early readiness 0, level 2 (moderate readiness), level 3 (preparedness), and level 4 (already implemented).

Based on the results of the INDI 4.0 self-assessment that the company has submitted through SIINAS Kemenperin, then followed by field verification, and selection by the assessment team, 31 companies have been selected as award recipients grouped into seven award categories, including Agile Organization, Sustainable Technology, Supply Chain Management, Human Capacity Building, Product and Service, Progressive Digitalization, and Smart Factory.

Adapun perusahaan industri penerima INDI 4.0 award tahun 2022, yakni 14 perusahaan binaan Direktorat Jenderal Industri Kimia dan Farmasi (IKFT), yang meliputi PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa, PT Wahana Duta Jaya Rucika, PT Kalimantan Chemicals, PT Bintang Toedjoe, dan PT Indorama Syntetics.

Furthermore, PT Coats Rejo Indonesia, PT Bandung Indah Gemilang, PT Trisula Textile Industries, PT Supernova Flexible Packaging, PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, PT Dhanar Mas Concern, PT Pancaprima Ekabrothers, PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek, and PT Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company.

Then, 10 companies assisted by the Directorate General of Metal and Electronics Industry (ILMATE), which includes PT LG Electronics Factory TV & Monitor, PT Voksel Electric, PT ASKI (Group AOP), PT Yamaha Electronic Manufacturing Indonesia, PT Denso Manufacturing Indonesia, PT Sat Nusapersada Tbk, PT Komatsu Indonesia, PT United Pandu Engineering, PT Komatsu Undercarriage Indonesia, and PT Tata Metal Lestari.

There are also six companies assisted by the Directorate General of Agro Industry, which include PT Tirta Fresindo Jaya Pasuruan, PT Djarum, PT Tirta Investama Banyuwangi, PT Tirta Investama Pandaan, PT Gelora Djaja, and PT Bentoel Prima).

In addition, one fostered company from the Directorate General of Small, Medium and Multifarious Industries (IKMA), namely PT Mattel Indonesia.
