JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) is renovating the Sayang Hospital (RS) in Cianjur Regency, West Java Province, which was damaged by an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6, on Monday, November 21.

"Rencana, dua minggu ke depan akan selesai dua ruangan pasien, yakni Gedung Flamboyan dan Gedung Baugenvile yang dapat menampung sekitar 59 pasien," kata Sekretaris Direktorat Jenderal Cipta Karya Riono Suprapto dalam keterangannya, Selasa 6 Desember.

The renovation work of the Sayang Cianjur Hospital was carried out during the night by involving around 55 workers.

Accelerating the completion of the hospital renovation will help provide health services for the community, especially injured victims due to the earthquake.

"For inpatient rooms, Bougenvile patients have 57 beds and 45 beds of Flamboyan rooms, bringing the total to 102 beds," said Riono.
