InJourney Hopes For The Development Of The Health SEZ In Sanur Bali Rampung In 2023

JAKARTA - The BUMN Tourism Holding InJourney hopes that the Sanur Health Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Bali can be completed next year.

"We hope this will be completed next year," said InJourney President Director Dony Argentia in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, December 6.

Dony hopes that the presence of the international standard health SEZ of Sanur can reduce the number of Indonesians who want to seek treatment abroad.

"This is very interesting where we hope that the Sanur SEZ will become an extraordinary medical tourism, because we hope that the impact can reduce the number of Indonesians seeking treatment abroad," he said.

Investor interest in the Sanur SEZ is high so that later in the SEZ there will be an international hospital in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic, then later there will also be a beauty clinic in collaboration with South Korea, then there will be from Japan, Australia, and all the sites are full so it is expected to run on very good operations.

Selain itu, nantinya di dalam KEK Sanur juga akan dilengkapi hotel, convention center dan fasilitas lainnya dalam satu complex, sehingga diharapkan KEK kesehatan Sanur yang terbaik di Asia.

Previously, SOE Minister Erick Thohir revealed that the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of health in Sanur could act as a research location for improving health quality in Indonesia.

Erick said that this is the first time Indonesia has a health SEZ and it happens that its land is 41.5 hectares owned by BUMN. So it's easy to build in an integrated manner.

SEZ Sanur is designed to become a health and tourism SEZ with a business plan for health facilities in the form of hospitals and clinics, hotel and MICE accommodation, an ethnomedicial botanical garden, and a commercial center that is planned to cooperate with micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to fill its shopping centers.
