Budget Ceiling Of The Ministry Of SOEs In 2023 Increases By 31 Percent, For Anything?

The budget ceiling of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in 2023 will reach IDR 260.4 billion.

The total budget rose 31 percent when compared to the 2022 budget ceiling of IDR 198.4 billion.

SOE Minister Erick Thohir said the increase in his ministry's budget ceiling next year could not be separated from the support of Commission VI as a working partner of the Ministry of SOEs.

Even so, he said, it was also because of his success in improving the performance of state-owned companies.

"Alhamdulillah, because of the support from Commission VI of the budget ceiling in 2023, it increased by approximately 31 percent to Rp. 260 billion," said Erick in a joint working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR RI, Monday, December 5.

The 2023 budget ceiling will be used for the management support program of IDR 180.7 billion.

This amount consists of work unit activities of IDR 45.5 billion, office operations of IDR 54.7 billion, salaries and allowances of IDR 80.4 billion.

"The other program is a BUMN development and supervision program worth IDR 79.7 billion," he said.

On this occasion, Erick revealed, the realization of the budget ceiling of the Ministry of SOEs in 2022 which has reached Rp168 billion.

This achievement is equivalent to approximately 85 percent of the total budget ceiling this year, which is IDR 198 billion. Erick said the budget absorption was recorded until November 2022.

Therefore, Erick is optimistic that by the end of the year the realization of the budget ceiling can reach 99 percent more than the overall ceiling value.

"The 2022 budget ceiling is IDR 198 billion, absorption is up to now, yesterday in November IDR 168 billion, so approximately 85 percent and God willing, this can be absorbed according to the target that is always in BUMN, which is 90 percent more," he said.
