Early In The Fourth Quarter Of 2022, Sales And Services Of Coal RMK Energy Broke Down

JAKARTA - PT RMK Energy Tbk (RMKE IJ) noted that until October 2022 it had succeeded in transporting 731,580 tons of coal in October 2022.

This number increased significantly by 57.84 percent on an annual basis (year-on-year/yoy).

Meanwhile, until the October 2022 period, the Company managed to transport a total of 6.19 million tons of coal, an increase of 24.51 percent yoy and has reached 79.14 percent of this year's target.

Meanwhile, in the coal sales segment itself, in October 2022, the company managed to sell 265,530 tons of coal, an increase of 255.84 percent yoy.

Until the October 2022 period, the company has sold a total of 1.89 million tons of coal, this number has increased sharply by 51.38 percent yoy.

RMKE Operations Director William Saputra said the TBBE in-house mine itself contributed 48 percent to the total volume of coal sales since its operation in February 2022.

This year, he continued, the company is targeting 2.26 million tons of coal sales and 83.41 percent of the target until October 2022 has been achieved.

"Based on the total volume, coal sales and coal services, each contributed 23.37 percent and 76.63 percent until October 2022," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, November 29.

William added, in order to increase the volume of coal in the future, starting this year RMKE will build a 30 km hauling road infrastructure integrated with Gunung Megang Station with the aim of opening access to potential coal mines in Muara Enim.

The Company targets this hauling road infrastructure to fully operate by 2023 and accelerate coal distribution.

"With this integrated infrastructure, RMKE can accelerate the achievement of services volume and coal sales of 20 million tons per year and 5 million tons per year," added William.

With this achievement, the Director of Finance of the Company Vincent Saputra said that optimistic management achieving operational targets will certainly have a positive impact on the company's financial performance.

Just so you know, this year RMKE targets operating income of IDR 2.5 trillion and operating profit of IDR 375.40 billion.

"The company in a sustainable manner also opens up opportunities for synergy and collaboration in the energy sector to increase coal volume in order to work on the large coal potential in Lahat and Muara Enim," concluded Vincent.
