JAKARTA - State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Food Holding, ID Food, and its members worked together to help victims of the Cianjur earthquake, West Java, synergize with the BUMN disaster task force.

Director of Human Resources for Food Holding ID, Endang Suraningsih, said that Holding ID FOOD Group was also moved to help victims of the Cianjur disaster by providing food and other necessities to help the victims. According to Endang, mutual cooperation with 16 members of ID Food reached hundreds of millions of rupiah and was handed over to earthquake victims through the BUMN disaster task force.

"ID Food Group has distributed assistance in the form of food products such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, processed meat and others through the BUMN Disaster Task Force in Cianjur, as well as medical equipment assistance in the form of masks, infusion sets of children, surgical threads, personal protective equipment (PPE) through Cianjur Hospital on Thursday, November 24, 2022," said Endang in an official statement quoted on Friday, November 25.

Endang explained that this mutual cooperation was as directed by SOE Minister Erick Thohir to respond quickly to help as soon as possible victims of the Cianjur earthquake and synergize with the BUMN disaster task force.

"Food housing with 16 members of ID Food will continue to strive to ease the burden on earthquake victims and food needs can be met for victims of the Cianjur disaster," said Endang.

Endang pun telah memerintahkan jajarannya melalui ID Food Peduli untuk secara intensif sekaligus mengaksi kebutuhan yang diperlukan.

Previously, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 hit Cianjur Regency, West Java, Monday, November 21 at 13.21 WIB.
