Maintain The G20 As The Global Main Economic Forum, Minister Of Finance Sri Mulyani: No Country Can Hold Global Conditions

BALI (Menkeu) Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that the G20 Indonesia Presidency will continue to strive to bridge the gap due to the geopolitical conditions of member countries. According to her, this is intended to maintain the position of the G20 as the main global economic forum, aka the global economic premiere forum.

"Maintaining this forum as a global economic premiere forum, in my opinion, is very important for us," he said in an official statement in Nusa Dua, Bali, quoted on Tuesday, November 15.

The Minister of Finance added that the G20 is an important forum considering that many global situations require cooperation between countries in the world. He said, no country can afford to handle this global condition alone.

"You talk about a pandemic, you talk about climate change, we talk about geopolitical or even digital technology, this will all force us as a world to work together. We can't be alone," he said.

The Minister of Finance said that many results were very real and concrete from the implementation of the G20 Indonesia Presidency. Although there is a slight difference, it does not mean eliminating the agreement which is actually more numerous.
