Super Air Jet From The Lion Group Owned By Konglomerat Rusdi Kirana Opens The Balikpapan-Tarakan Route

JAKARTA - Super Air Jet has re-opened a new route, this time flying from Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport (SAMS) Sepinggan Balikpapan to Juata Airport, Tarakan, North Kalimantan.

"This route is taken within 1 hour 10 minutes. The busy flight route between provinces, East Kalimantan to Kaltara, will help realize the dream of travelers (travelers) to complete the list of favorite destinations in northern Indonesia," said Super Air Jet's Chief Executive Officer, Ari Azhari, in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, November 15.

He said the new route would be opened seven times a week, which means the flight takes place once a day.

According to Ari, the opening of a new route is because the city, which is located in the northern part of Kalimantan and is located on its own island, offers various cultural, marine and natural tourist attractions that must be explored.

No less important, Tarakan has become a center for trade and exploring various business opportunities, including the creative industry or Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

"The Super Popular Rute will be increasingly crowded as a form of Super Air Jet support to drive and contribute to the economic equality of East Kalimantan, Kaltara and other areas around," said Ari.

The aircraft, which has an IU flight code, is a type of Airbus 320 with a capacity of 180 economy class seats. The baggage features of the cabin compartment are wider, the distance between seats is relief, futuristic interior and ergonomic seats.

In addition, Super Air Jet also offers free baggage. Every passenger on this flight will get a free trunk of 20 kilograms.

Meanwhile, for ticket purchases using a credit card or Bank BNI debit card, you can immediately get an additional free baggage of Kg.

Super Air Jet provides additional two kg of extra baggage for passengers who check-in through the Super Air Jet application, which can be downloaded via the Play Store or App Store.

As long as it airs, passengers will also be served entertainment by downloading the Tripper application.

The Balikpapan-Tarakan PP route Super Air Jet flight schedule is 18.40 WITA, then is scheduled to arrive in Tarakan at 19.50 WITA. The plane with flight number IU-696 departs from Tarakan at 06.30 WITA, then is scheduled to arrive in Balikpapan at 07.40 WITA.
