JAKARTA - The B20 Summit, which is the official G20 forum representing the global business community, has resulted in communication and 25 policy recommendations.

Chairman of B20 Indonesia Shinta Kamdani said the recommendation was a legacy or legacy to support the revival of the global economy from the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I recall when the President of the Republic of Indonesia asked B20 to work together to contribute to economic recovery, and now we are entering a new era with a great reboot and the ability to manage and even get out of the crisis," Shinta said at the closing of the B20 Summit, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 14.

Post-pandemic economic recovery, he said, was shown by businesses that began to innovate to take advantage of new opportunities and trade rebounds.

"Now we have an opportunity for a new economic era based on cooperation. In that spirit, I am proud to convey the communication of B20 Indonesia which includes our joint recommendations for the leaders of the G20," he said.

The B20 communication generated under the leadership of Indonesia includes three main elements, namely innovation, inclusiveness, and collaboration.

Innovation focuses on efforts to unlock post-disrising economic growth, including opening up digital opportunities across the economy, expanding cooperation to respond to cybercrimes, and increasing funds for green infrastructure through innovative financing mechanisms that accelerate energy transitions.

In realizing inclusiveness, Indonesia encourages the acceleration of digital transformation for the empowerment of MSMEs and vulnerable groups with a focus on capability, entrepreneurship, and job creation.

Meanwhile, the spirit of collaboration between developed and developing countries needs to be advanced, especially to realize a fairer health service architecture and make guidelines on future health emergency preparedness.

"Together, we have reached a consensus with 25 policy recommendations and 68 policy actions," said Shinta.
