Attending The CEO Of The Forum Ahead Of The G20 Summit, The Chairperson Of The IKN Promotion Deposit Insurance Corporation

JAKARTA - The Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) cooperates with Bloomberg to hold the CEO of Forum as part of the side event ahead of the G20 Indonesia Presidency.

Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of LPS Purbaya Yudhi Sadives said LPS wants the G20 Indonesia Presidency to really be considered through the LPS-Bloomberg CEO Forum 2022.

Meanwhile, several topics discussed include strengthening the global health sector, digital technology, renewable energy, a green economy, and the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) as the new capital city of Indonesia which carries the concept of a green-smart city.

"We will talk about sustainability later so that it becomes the center of world attention as well. Especially we inform you of Indonesia's very good condition and they will also welcome to invest in Indonesia," he said in a statement to the media, Friday, November 11.

Purbaya added, as an inseparable part of the issue of sustainability, this forum also discusses the concepts, opportunities, and challenges of IKN development as a green and smart city.

"Later in the next session we will also discuss IKN. We promote IKN so that investors understand that Indonesia is serious about building IKN. And there are various special incentives provided so that they are interested in investing. LPS itself is very serious about wanting to help build IKN. We are also committed, if land is provided to invest as much as 250 million US dollars next year, which was originally intended to be used to build infrastructure," he added.

Furthermore, Purbaya stated, in general the implementation of the LPS-Bloomberg CEO Forum is a form of LPS support to contribute to the success of the G20 Presidency Summit. Mainly, the various topics raised in this forum have also been in accordance with the government's priority agenda in the G20 Summit this time, namely on health issues and sustainability issues.

"Through the implementation of the Bloomberg CEO Forum, we hope that there will be more intense follow-up dialogues, not just speech competitions, until they arrive at real initiatives on various issues discussed today," concluded Purbaya.
