JAKARTA - Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs Siti Azizah explained the latest efforts from her party in realizing the 30 million MSME digitization program which is targeted to be achieved by 2024.

"The existing problem is that there is a database integration gap, that we have a lot of MSME data, but it has not been standardized, while we see Indonesia's digital potential is extraordinary, that's why we will develop a dashboard of monitoring developments from MSME players in the digital world," he said in a press conference held online, quoted by Antara, Thursday, October 27.

Siti said that in achieving the target of 30 million MSMEs going digital set by President Jokowi, her party was assisted by a project management office (PMO) which was formed this month in building dashboards to monitor or monitor the development of MSME actors in the digital realm.

"The acceleration plan is carried out by connecting data connected to SDIT, piloting Regsosek and collaborating with iDea through the Proudly Made in Indonesia (BBI) campaign so that it is connected to seven groups and seven aspects of digitalization," he explained.

Then the plan is that by the end of November the Kemenkop UKM will start implementing the acceleration of the target of stakeholders consisting of 22 k/l, local governments, digital platforms, financial institutions, and educational institutions stating that stakeholders will carry out accelerated programs.

Furthermore, in the process, digital transformation will be carried out and supported by stakeholders in regions with a portion of 60 percent for regions or in 2023 it will reach 2.4 million and in 2024 it will reach 3.4 million MSMEs on board.

Meanwhile, 40 percent will be carried out by ministries or stakeholders involved with a target achievement in 2023 of 1.6 million and in 2024 2.4 million. So that in 2023 a total of 4 million and 6 million will be achieved in 2024 MSMEs on boarding.

"The potential of this digital economy is very large, and we really hope that Indonesian MSME players can go digital and eventually go global," concluded Siti.
