Support Food Swasembada, PTPN XIV Harmonized The Transformation Program With Holding And The Ministry Of SOEs

PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV as a subsidiary of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara always harmonizes transformation programs carried out by State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) to support food self-sufficiency.

"We are doing this both in line with the transformation program with PTPN Group and with a transformation program that is being initiated by the Ministry of SOEs through the leadership of Erick Thohir," said Director of PTPN XIV, Tio Handoko in a press statement quoted by Antara, Tuesday, October 18.

He said the business transformation carried out by PTPN XIV began with the preparation of the initiative strategy.

There are several things that PTPN XIV does in developing strategic programs or initiative strategies is to determine the criteria for the Operational Excellence program, develop Asset Optimization programs and also develop programs in the Intellectual Capital sector.

Then from these pillars, continued Tio, a framework can be drawn up to build Corporate Culture which can really lead to modern plantation growth, mechanism & digital transformation.

Tio said that several business portfolios at PTPN XIV have begun to be organized, which previously had various kinds of cultivation, so currently PTPN XIV will focus on two cultivations, namely palm oil and sugar cane.

"These two cultivations are a form of alignment with the national food security transformation program," he said.

He hopes that in making adjustments to these strategic programs, he will receive support from all parties, both internal and external parties.

In this regard, he continued, is something that is proud of PTPN XIV if it can make a tremendous contribution to the nation and state.

Therefore, this transformation will continue to be carried out so that SOEs can further contribute to Indonesia and become global players.
