Hutama Karya Achieves A Contract Of IDR 161 Billion To Make Lake Toba Arrangement

JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) has won a new contract worth IDR 161 billion to work on the Lake Toba Super Priority National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) project. Director of Operations II Hutama Karya Gunadi explained that the construction of tourist facilities on the Pangururan Waterfront City Area Planning and the Lake Toba KSPN Tele Area includes the arrangement of the Tano & Boru Saniangnaga Boraspati Statue, Pustaha & Syair Tao Toba Statue, Toba Geological Rock Display, Aek Penjelaged Water Art Attraction, Aek Natio Floating Stage, Aek Margondang Music Art Installation. In addition, the scope of work includes the Holy Park and the Plantation of the Dry Fountain Plaza Spirit, the Samosir Gallery Display Installation, the Solu Bolon Traditional Art Installation, the Totem Batak Autonal Art Installation, the Pangururan Waterfront Storytelling Signages, Video Motion Graphics for the Samosir Gallery, Video for Waterscreen Projection, Tarombo Batak Art Installation and Storytelling Signages Tele Area "The KSPN Toba project is worth Rp. 161 billion with an structuring area of approximately 6.4 hectares, and an area of land for the arrangement of the Panorama Tele area of approximately 0.97 hectares," he said in a written statement, quoted on Friday, October 14. As for supporting KSPN Lake Toba, Hutama Karya also boosted the Trans Sumatra Toll Road for the Kuala Tanjung - Tebing Tinggi - Parapat section. The toll road is divided into 4 segments, namely Section 1 Tebing Tinggi - Inderapura 20.4 km, section 2 Inderapura - Kuala Tanjung 18.05 km, section 3 Tebing Tinggi - Serbelawan 30 km, section 4 Serbelawan - Pematang Siantar 28 km, and junction Tebing Tinggi 7 km. Karya Gunadi explained, the progress of the construction of the Kuala Tanjung - Tebing Tinggi - Parapat toll road as of September 2022, for section 1 Tebing Tinggi-Inderapura has reached 93 percent, Section 2 Inderapura - Kuala Tanjung reached 70.8 percent, Section 3 Tebing Tinggi [Serbelawan reaches 62.6 percent, Section 4 Serbelawan - Pematang Siantar reaches 55.3 percent, and the Tebing Tinggi junction reaches 60.9 percent. "The presence of this JTTS can shorten the travel time for motorists from Medan City to the Lake Toba Tourism Area or vice versa from 4 hours to only 2 hours," he said.
