Lasting 15 Days, The Digital Market For MSME Expo 2022 Notes Transactions Of IDR 15.8 Billion

JAKARTA - The Digital Market (PaDi) of the MSME Expo 2022 which was implemented in a hybrid manner was officially closed on Wednesday, by Deputy Minister of SOEs I Pahala Nugraha Mansury. The exhibition, which has been taking place since September 28, recorded 4,774 transactions with a value of IDR 15.8 billion from the previous year of 2,442 transactions of IDR 12.5 billion.

Expert Staff for Finance and MSME Development, Loto Srinaita Ginting, said that the implementation of PaDi UMKM Expo 2022 is a form of our joint effort to encourage economic growth through increasing MSME businesses.

Loto said, this was in line with the direction of SOE Minister Erick Thohir. Where Indonesia needs to jointly build MSMEs based on the people's economy as the foundation of the state.

"Through the PaDi MSME Expo activities, including offline, we are also trying to continue to increase public awareness regarding the presence of SOEs in supporting MSMEs," he said in an official statement, Thursday, October 13.

Loto hopes that more collaborations will be created among various stakeholders to continue to build with this digital-based ecosystem, so that the benefits can be felt for more people, especially MSMEs.

Meanwhile, Pahala said that SOEs as agents of change and agents of economic growth must support end-to-end empowerment of MSMEs. Starting from MSME development, access to financing, as well as the provision of market or market access for MSMEs, including to be directly involved in the supply chain of SOEs.

"The Ministry of SOEs through SOEs actively contributes to the development of MSMEs through various programs, one of which is through the Procurement Excellence program which has a vision to increase transparency, efficiency, and competitiveness in the procurement of SOEs through digitization and PaDi MSMEs," said Pahala.

The PaDi UMKM Expo 2022 event is fully supported by PT PLN (Persero) as well as the collaboration of all SOEs and held for 15 days, of which 5 days are carried out offline in Sarinah.
