Kemenperin Bidik 1 Million Small Industry Has A TKDN Certificate

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) is targeting one million small industries to have a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certificate according to the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). "The president targets one million small industries to be certified by TKDN which we facilitate for free. We will push as much as possible," said Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Ministry of Industry Dody Widodo, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, October 11. Dody said that one of the things the Ministry of Industry has done to realize this was by issuing Minister of Industry Regulation (Permenperin) Number 43 of 2022 concerning Procedures for the Appointment of Independent Verification Institutions and the Imposition of Administrative Sanctions in the Context of Calculation and Verification of TKDN and Company Benefit Values (BMP). Permenperin tersebut merupakan revisi dari Permenperin Nomor 57 Tahun 2006 tentang Penjukkan Surveyor sebagai Pelaksanaan Verifikasi Capaian TKDN atas Barang Jasa Perudusi Dalam Negeri. Through the revision, he said, the Ministry of Industry opened a survey agency for other TKDN assessors where previously it was only Sucofindo and Surveyor Indonesia. "We are revising the opportunity for credible and other survey institutions to be able to verify and calculate TKDN in one product. Even though in the end it is still the Center for Increasing the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) that legalizes it," said Dody. With the increase in TKDN assessment institutions, continued Dody, it is hoped that it will accelerate small industries that get TKDN certificates for free, considering that small industries meet 93 percent of all industries in Indonesia. By pocketing a TKDN certificate, the industry has the opportunity to be included in the e-catalog of the Government Goods Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) which appears on the main page. In addition, in the latest regulations, small industries can also conduct self-assessment or self-assessment of TKDN from their products. In this case, the Ministry of Industry provides complete guidance, including videos on the Youtube application so that they can take part in the tutoring of self-assessment filling to find out the TKDN value contained in their products. "These small industries will be given complete guidance. And they must fill in according to the products they have and must be fully responsible," said the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry. Dody hopes that this effort can realize President Jokowi's desire for one million small industries to obtain free TKDN certificates so that they are more likely to be looked at by the government's budget.
