WIKA Moves Fast Handling Leaks In Water Pipes At The HI Roundabout Transjakarta Bus Stop Project

JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk moved quickly to deal with water pipe leakage in the Trans Jakarta Hotel Indonesia (HI) roundabout Revitalization project area. "As a follow-up, the project team has carried out handling for water extraction by using eight pump machines for handling inundation and coordinating with the PAM Team to repair the leaks that occurred," said WIKA Corporate Secretary Mahendra Vijaya, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, October 11. In addition, Mahendra added that the company will also evaluate and preventive actions on the potential impact of inundation that may arise on facilities around the area. WIKA as the Managing Contractor said that there had been a leak of a pipe belonging to the drinking water company (PAM) in the Trans Jakarta Roundabout Revitalization project area. This caused inundation around the area which was caused by the excavation work. WIKA as the implementing contractor carries out its commitment to carry out work while prioritizing aspects of safety, occupational health, as well as the quality according to existing company procedures as well as the requirements of the employer. Previously, the construction of the Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout Bus Stop was expected to be completed in November 2022. Currently, the mass transportation bus stop has been operating with a limited test status. It is known that the HI Roundabout Bus Stop is projected to be an iconic bus stop with the Cikoko Integration Bus Stop at Cawang Station, Sarinah Busari Bus Stop (Thamrin), Tosari Bus Stop, and Dukuh Atas 1 Bus Stop.
