The Ministry Of Transportation Seeks A TKBM Conflict At Kendari Port To Be Immediately Resolved

JAKARTA - Regarding the Unloaded Manpower demonstration (TKBM) at the Kendari Class II KSOP Office, which demands that the recommendation be given to work at the Kendari New Port Terminal, the Ministry of Transportation, in this case, the Directorate General of Sea Transportation is currently trying to resolve the conflict immediately. KSOP Class II Kendari also continues to encourage the offices in charge of regional government manpower and operations as well as Forkopimda as supervisors from TKBM cooperatives to jointly resolve the prolonged conflict involving the Unloaded Mandiri Cooperation (TKBM) Tunas Bangsa Mandiri and the Karya Bahari cooperative (TKBM) in Kendari New Port can be completed properly. Director of Sea Traffic and Transportation Capt. Hendri Ginting said coordination was needed with the Kemenkomarves, Kemenaker, Kemenkop and Stranas PK, the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government and the Kendari City Government in charge of operations and employment to invite the two referred TKBM Cooperatives and the Kendari Port Business Entity in terms of seeking mutual agreement regarding the implementation of loading and unloading of goods and to ships at Kendari Terminal New Port. Hendri said that the Kendari New Port Terminal is a container terminal, and refers to the provisions in the Minister of Transportation Regulation of PM 59 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Services Business Related to Transportation in Waters in Articles 5 paragraphs (2) and (5) it has been regulated that human resources carrying out activities at the container terminal must have competence in accordance with the field of work they are doing, as evidenced by certificates. Meanwhile, Kendari's Head of KSOP Class II Agus Winartono said that he was continuing to seek mediation between related parties to find solutions. "We have scheduled a meeting between the two TKBM cooperatives, BUP and the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government and the Kendari City Government today, Thursday, to sit down together to find solutions and mutual agreements," said Head of KSOP Class II Kendari Agus Winartono. Currently, looking at the unfavorable situation, Agus ordered all staff based from their respective homes (WFH) to a conducive situation.
