Expansion Of Sharia Literacy, Muamalat Of The Unique Qualification Title With Prizes To Be CEO Of A Day

JAKARTA PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk through the Muamalat Institute is known to be increasingly conducting economic and sharia education to the public. Most recently, the first Islamic-principled banking institution held the 2022 Interactive Kuis Muamalat (MI-KIR 2022).

Muamalat Institute Executive Director Anton Hendrianto said this strategy is one of the initiatives to advance the sharia economy in Indonesia.

"We want to be the pioneers and at the forefront of rolling out the halal economy in the country," he said in a press statement on Wednesday, October 5.

According to Anton, the program being organized targets community groups from students at universities.

This is a strategic activity in increasing Islamic economic and financial literacy. We are optimistic that we can provide added value for the development of this industry going forward," he said.

As an effort to attract interest, Muamalat promised a special gift for the participants who managed to achieve peak achievements in this program.

"We plan to provide a unique experience for students in the Islamic banking industry through the opportunity to become CEO of Muamalat one day if they succeed in becoming winners," he said.

This program itself is carried out in collaboration with the National Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance (KNEKS) so that it is hoped that it can increase Islamic financial inclusion in various regions.

KNEKS Hayati Policy Analyst Zahri stated that the initiative carried out by Muamalat was considered very helpful for students to combine various aspects of learning methods in improving Islamic economic and financial literacy.

"The blended learning method between the Islamic banking industry and various stakeholders, in the future this program needs to be scheduled every year, a fun method and provide its own experience for students," he said.

Meanwhile, MI-KIR 2022 is claimed to have received such a large interest in the number of hundreds of registrants. In the selection process and the quiz stage, it was found that the four best participants with the winner came from UIN Malik Ibrahim Malang named Niken Novita Sari.
