JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero) has re-imposed regular price adjustments for general fuel or non-subsidized fuel products, namely Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Perta Dex.

Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Irto Ginting stated that the price of non-subsidized fuel will continue to be adjusted following the trend of the average price of oil publications, namely the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS).

We will continue to evaluate and adjust prices for non-subsidized fuel regularly every month. Based on calculations, in the last September period for Gasoline (gasoline) products, namely the Pertamax Series experienced price reduction adjustments, while for Gasoil (diesel) products Dexlite and Perta Dex the adjustment rose in price. All price adjustments are valid from October 1," explained Irto in his statement, Saturday, October 1.

For Pertamax Turbo (RON 98), there is a price adjustment to Rp14,950 and for Pertamax (RON 92) to Rp13,900. Meanwhile, for Dexlite (CN 51), there is a price adjustment to Rp17,800 and Perta Dex (CN 53) the price is Rp18,100 per liter. This price applies to the province with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5 percent like in the DKI Jakarta area.

All these new prices are in accordance with the pricing set in the Ministerial Decree of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 62/K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the formulation of non-subsidized JBU prices or non-subsidized fuel. Pertamina also continues to be committed to providing products with quality guaranteed at competitive prices throughout Indonesia," continued Irto.

Regarding the difference in price adjustments in the Pertamax Series and Dex Series products, Irto explained that this was caused by global energy conditions, one of which was geopolitical in Eastern Europe. This condition causes high demand for gas fuel products around the world, and one substitution of gas fuel products is diesel fuel whose price refers to MOPS Kerosene.

This MOPS Kerosene is a reference for prices for raw materials for diesel products. The high demand and limited raw materials keep the price high, even though the world oil price trends are decreasing," he said.
