Konglomerat-Owned Bank Anthony Salim Net Profit Raup Rp52.9 Billion In Semester I 2022

JAKARTA - The bank owned by Indofood boss, conglomerate Anthony Salim, PT Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (BINA) posted a net profit of IDR 52.907 billion during the first semester of 2022. This achievement jumped 128 percent compared to the same period in 2021 which was valued at IDR 23.171 billion. "With the strategy that has been launched, we can record credit growth of 127 percent on an annual basis, far exceeding the credit growth of the national banking industry of 10.3 percent," said Bank Ina Perdana President Director Daniel Budihayu in an official statement, Tuesday, September 27. In the first semester of 2022, the company has disbursed loans of Rp7.06 trillion, up 127 percent on an annual basis. This achievement was supported by an increase in credit disbursement of the working capital segment by 135 percent on an annual basis to Rp5.08 trillion. Followed by the investment segment which rose 121 percent on an annual basis to Rp1.63 trillion. Then, the consumption segment rose 65 percent on an annual basis to Rp337.04 billion. "From the results of lending, we managed to record net interest income as of June 2022 of Rp234.56 billion, an increase of 115 percent from Rp109 billion as of June 2021," he said. He explained that credit growth was accompanied by the precautionary principle so that the ratio of problematic loans was maintained at the level of 1.84 percent for gross NPL and net NPL at the level of 0.58 percent. On the other hand, he said, the company can record Third Party Funds (DPK) of IDR 16.416 trillion and reduce the cost of funds by increasing the portion of low-cost funds or (CASA), this can be seen from the increase in Savings by 10.1 percent compared to the end of June 2021 to IDR 435.51 billion. Meanwhile, for Giro, it increased 146 percent from IDR 3.57 trillion to IDR 8.79 trillion as of June 2022. The company's assets increased to Rp19.33 trillion, or 70.1 percent compared to the end of June 2021 which was recorded at Rp11.36 trillion.
