Ahead Of Rights Issue, Neo Commerce Raup Bank Based On Commission Rp230.9 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BNC), announced a positive performance by recording a fee-based income of IDR 230.9 billion as of August 2022. The record grew 88.1 percent from the end of 2021 period.

President Director of BNC Tjandra Gunawan said the positive performance was achieved thanks to various innovations presented by BNC, for example, various lifestyle features in neobank and QRIS applications.

"From a business perspective, we also always provide the best financial services by continuing to add innovative features and products that can be a solution to Nasabah's financial needs and transactions. This is reflected in the positive achievements we have received in the last few months," said Tjandra Gunawan in an official broadcast quoted by Antara, Friday, September 23.

This proves that these features and products are actively used by BNC customers, which currently number more than 19 million users.

In addition, BNC will add Capital with Pre-emptive Rights (PMHMETD) or rights issue, by issuing a maximum of 5 billion new shares.

The funds obtained from PMHMETD will be used by BNC to strengthen core capital and for working capital for the Company's Business Development, among others in the form of lending and other banking operational activities.

The implementation of the rights issue is also for the fulfillment of the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 12/POJK. 03/2020 concerning General Bank Consolidation which requires every general bank to have a minimum core capital of IDR 3 trillion until the end of 2022.

"BNC as a Public Bank as well as an open company, is committed to complying with applicable regulations and laws, including the obligation to fulfill core capital. Currently we are in the middle of the process of implementing Right Issue and of course it will be completed in the fourth quarter of this year," he said.
