JAKARTA - The Patimban Port has now officially become one of the ports for stopping the T-3 Sea Toll Road.

This was marked by the ceremonial release of the initial cargo of the KM Logistics Nusantara 4 toll boat at the Patimban Port Pier today.

KM Logistics Nusantara 4 arrived for the inaugural Sea Toll service at Patimban Port, Subang Regency, West Java on September 13 at 06.00 WIB and departed again on September 14, 2022 at 17.00 WIB.

Direktur Jenderal Perhubungan Laut, Arif Toha mengungkapkan, dengan dijadikannya Pelabuhan Patimban sebagai port berhenti pada trayek T-3 maka diharapkan akan terciptakan jalur perdagangan baru dari dan menuju wilayah Provinsi Jawa Barat.

"This route is served by the KM. Logistics Nusantara 4 with a transport capacity of 115 Teus, with a travel time of approximately three weeks," said Hendri.

On the same occasion, Head of the Patimban Harbormaster and Port Authority (KSOP) Office, Yan Prastomo Ardi revealed, on this inaugural voyage KM Logistik Nusantara 4 carried five containers.

The container consists of four cement containers and one container of mango fruit from Patimban Port which is transported to the 3TP area in the Riau Islands and Natuna areas.

"This is just the first voyage, in the future the Sea Toll Road will transport other commodities such as cooking oil and agricultural products and the harvest of the Subang area. And it is hoped that it will become a routine cargo of the Sea Toll Road from Patimban," said Yan.

Acting Director General of Domestic Trade of the Ministry of Trade, Syailendra appreciated the Sea Toll Road program which is now present at Patimban Port, Subang Regency, West Java.

He hopes that this can contribute to logistics distribution, especially to 3TP areas, so that it can suppress price disparities.

"The Ministry of Trade supports Patimban Port as the port of Singgah toll roads," said Syailendra.
