Pertamina Sale Rugi Pertamax, Member Of Commission VII DPR Asks The Government To Open The Basic Price Of Production

JAKARTA - Member of Commission VII DPR RI Mulyanto questioned the statement by the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, who said that PT Pertamina (Persero) sold the loss of oil fuel (BBM) type Pertamax RON 92.

He urged the government to disclose data on the Main Production Price (HPP) of the state-owned company's fuel production.

"How can business entities sell loss. This is the same as a suicide for the company," said Mulyanto in a written statement, Tuesday, September 13.

He also asked Pertamina to open HPP data and the economic price of Pertamax RON 92 fuel type.

If Pertamina is selling fuel loss for the type of Pertamax RON 92, he continued, then all parties involved need to be held accountable.

"Is the Minister of SOEs at the general meeting of shareholders (GMS) approving this loss sell-off. If the answer is 'yes', then this is a strange condition, magic bin," he said.

According to him, this loss-sale action seemed to plunge his subordinates into the abyss of destruction.

Regarding the selling price of Pertamax RON 92 BBM, Mulyanto assessed, the selling price of that type in Indonesia is relatively expensive.

This is because, compared to non-subsidized BBM Petronas Malaysia RON 97 (with RON 5 level above Pertamax RON 92) the price is only Rp. 14,190 per liter (4.2 RM).

This means that BBM Petronas is cheaper at IDR 310 per liter than the current price of Pertamax RON 92 which is IDR 14,500 per liter.

This fact, according to Mul, as he is usually called, is quite tickling.

That the price of non-subsidized fuel at Petronas with a five-tier RON rate is cheaper than Rp310 per liter compared to the selling price of Pertamax RON 92.

"And even more strange is the magic bin, if the Minister of SOEs states that with a selling price of that magnitude, Pertamax RON 92 is still in a state of loss and loss," he said.

Just so you know, Coordinating Minister Airlangga previously said that the economic price for Pertamax RON 92 was actually IDR 15,150 per liter.

If so, the in-efficiency is questioned. Mulyanto suspects that this is an oil and gas mafia job, which part of Pertamax products are processed at refineries abroad.
