JAKARTA - A total of 3,860 households in South Sulawesi will receive free electricity installations in 2022.

The Electricity New Installation Assistance Program (BPBL) is a synergy between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and the Indonesian House of Representatives as an effort to increase the electrification ratio.

"Rasio is important today's electrification to improve the economy of the community as well as human resources (HR). "Moros Regency plans to install as many as 643 households in 2022, some of which are located in Mattirotasi Village, Maros Baru District, Maros Regency," he said.

In addition to Maros Regency, Wajo Regency in South Sulawesi is also planned to install a free electricity installation for 576 households.

"The people who receive the BPBL program will receive a house electrical installation in the form of 3 light points and 1 contact box, inspection and inspection of the Operational Like Certificate (SLO) installation, connection to PLN, and the first electric token," he concluded.

In this event, Regent Maros Chaidir Syam and General Manager of PLN South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and West Sulawesi (Sulselrabar) Main Units Andy Achminoerdin were also present.
