JAKARTA - The Minister of Investment, Bahlil Lahadalia reminded the younger generation to make the region the host in their own country. He said that supporting this at this time all investments included in the regions are obliged to collaborate with regional entrepreneurs. "It is no longer allowed to cooperate with companies outside the region itself. Bahlil said that the Ministry of Investment encourages regulations that make regional entrepreneurs the masters in their own country. In addition, according to him, efforts to make the host in the country itself are made through changes in the mindset of the younger generation today, they must have the dream of becoming an entrepreneur, not becoming a civil servant. "Rebut the mining and plantations that are controlled by foreigners to take over in order to make them masters in their own country," he said. He reminded the younger generation to be confident. Not all who have mining and plantation businesses must come from people with money. "One of our weaknesses is to be hypnotized to become an employee. From the past, our parents, or our generation, have become entrepreneurs, of course, they are managing our natural resources. Now that investment has entered, foreigners have entered and regional friends have been abandoned, that's how it is," he explained. In front of students, he convinces them to make the region the host in their own country, the government has made regulations so that every investor puts the interests of the region and the people first. "That's why now we revoke the mining permit, as many as 2078 IUPs we revoke, after that we give it to SOEs, SOEs, Komantas, Cooperatives and MSMEs in the regions so that local people can become masters in their own country, that's the goal," he explained.
