Kuku Bima Sido Muncul Holds Cleft Lip Operations Freely In Bekasi

JAKARTA - As a form of company concern, PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) through one of its flagship products, Kuku Bima Health Supplement held a Free Lip Cleft Operation social service in collaboration with Smile Train Indonesia at Hermina Galaxy Hospital, Bekasi on Wednesday 7 September. Cleft Lip Operations Assistance worth Rp. 210 million was symbolically handed over by Director of Sido Muncul Irwan Hidayat to Country Manager and Program Director of Smile Train Indonesia Deasy Larasati witnessed by the Director of Hermina Galaxy Hospital, dr. Wagiu F. P. Kaunang, MARS. "Today we again provide assistance to 30 patients in the Bekasi area and its surroundings. For today there will be 10 patients under operation. The rest will be carried out in stages. The focus of assistance is on patients who come from underprivileged families. We hope that the operation will run smoothly so that patients can smile again and can increase their confidence in socializing," explained Irwan Hidayat. At the handover of aid this time, Sido Muncul also presented ad star for Kuku Health Supplement, Bima Donny Kesuma, who was present to provide moral support to patients who will undergo surgery. The free lip cleft operation is not the first time that has been carried out by Sido Muncul. Irwan added that Sido Muncul had carried out lip cleft operations for eight times since 2018 in various regions in Indonesia. "We have done this social service at ST Carolus Borromeus Hospital, East Kupang Nusa Tenggara twice, Dolok Sanggul Hospital North Sumatra, Sari Asih Hospital Serang Banten, Surodadi Hospital Tegal, Wonosobo Hospital, Central Java, and Tangerang Selaras Hospital. The total number of patients who have been operated is 182 patients," concluded Irwan Hidayat.
