Penlok Published, Jasa Marga Targets Construction Of Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road Starting Next Year

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk through its subsidiary, PT Jasamarga Ngawi Kertosono Kediri (JNK) which manages the Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road, is currently entering the stage of identification and land inventory for the construction of the toll road. This progress is a follow-up to the issuance of location determination (penlok) by the East Java Provincial Government.

President Director of PT JNK Arie Irianto explained that the regional government that had been determined through the East Java Governor's Decree at the end of May 2022 covered the Nganjuk Regency and Kediri Regency. Currently, the Land Procurement Committee (P2T) teams of the two districts have also been formed and are entering the stage of carrying out their duties.

"Currently, the progress of land acquisition for the two regencies is running simultaneously, including measuring and collecting land data as well as socializing for 5 sub-districts and 22 villages in the established regional government. We and the Land Commitment Making Officer (PPK) will try to make land acquisition for the two regencies run according to the expected targets," said Arie in his statement, Thursday, August 23.

Arie added, if it goes well and land acquisition is in line with the target, PT JNK is partially optimistic that construction construction for the Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road can begin in 2023 with a record progress of free land has reached 75 percent. Currently PT JNK is also pursuing the approval of the Final Engineering Plan (RTA) for the toll road.

"PT JNK is also committed to continuing to coordinate with relevant parties in the process of implementing the construction of the Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road to provide greater benefits to the surrounding community," concluded Arie.

The Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road is an extension of the Ngawi-Kertosono Toll Road. In accordance with the 2019 Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT) addendum, the Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road has a length of 20.30 Km with an investment cost of IDR 3.9 trillion.

This toll road will be equipped with one Kedungsoko junction, which connects to the Ngawi-Kertosono Toll Road, as well as two interchanges located in Nganjuk Regency which is connected to the Sugihwaras access road and in Kediri Regency which is connected to the Banyakan access road. In addition, the Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road is also planned to have two new toll gates (GT), namely GT Sugihwaras and GT Kediri.

"The Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road will be connected to the Ngawi-Kertosono Toll Road which has been fully operational since 2018, so the total length of the toll road managed by PT JNK for the Ngawi-Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road is 108.3 Km. will connect economic centers in the southern part of East Java to support access connectivity to Kediri International Airport," concluded Arie.
