JAKARTA - The government through the Directorate General of Budget of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) stated that the realization of non-tax state revenues (PNBP) in the first semester of 2022 had reached Rp.281 trillion or about 58.3 percent of the target of Presidential Decree 98/2022.
The Director General of Budget of the Ministry of Finance Isa Rachmatawarta said the score increased by 35.8 on an annual basis (year on year / yoy) compared to the same period in 2021 which grew 11.4 percent.
"The realization of PNBP Semester I 2022 which grew positively in line with the return of community economic activities and rising commodity prices," he said through an online channel on Thursday, August 4.
Isa detailed that there are four major components that make up PNBP. First, PNBP from the natural resources (SDA) sector, which successfully collected Rp114.6 trillion.
Second, PNBP separated state assets (KND) such as those from BUMN dividend payments with a contribution of Rp. 35.5 trillion.
Three, PNBP sourced from other sectors, such as Domestic Market Obligation (DMO), passport and visa making, amounting to Rp85.1 trillion.
Then the last one is PNBP of Public Service Agency (BLU), such as government hospitals, amounting to Rp45.8 trillion.
“All PNBP sectors experienced an increase except BLU PNBP which was caused by income from the management of oil palm plantation funds (due to the decline in export volume and the impact of the CPO export ban). In addition, the contraction was also caused by a decrease in revenue from fund management and in revenue from the management of the authority area," he explained.
Isa ensured that his party would continue to optimize all potential state revenues to support the performance of the 2022 State Budget to be healthier.
“PNBP management needs to be maximized so that there will be better predictions and we can also ensure that potential state revenues become reality. We will periodically report the latest developments of PNBP to the public,” concluded Isa Rachmatawarta.
