Good News From Lion Air, This Airline Owned By The Rusdi Kirana Conglomerate Has Just Opened Balikpapan-Denpasar Flights

JAKARTA - Lion Air (JT flight code), an airline from the Lion Air Group owned by conglomerate Rusdi Kirana, announced the latest service.

Lion Air will open scheduled domestic direct flights from Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan (BPN) to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Denpasar in Badung, Bali (DPS).

"Direct flight routes (without transit) connecting these leading destinations will further facilitate mobility for the community, tourists and business people. The added value includes shortening travel time and shortening distances," said Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, in written statement, quoted Sunday, July 31.

According to him, the upcoming Lion Air Balikpapan - Denpasar - Balikpapan route is a new option to fly directly and complement the services that are already running. Namely stopover in Makassar, Jakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya.

"The community, business people and tourists will have various alternative air travel according to their needs with the best departure schedule," he said.

The new route, he said, could support the acceleration and economic recovery in the provinces of East Kalimantan and Bali in line with contributing to stimulate the tourism sector, MSMEs and other industries.
