JAKARTA - A number of netizens have complained that the MyPertamina application and website often experience problems.

Based on VOI.id's monitoring on the Pertamina website, information appears that it is currently in the optimization stage and asks users to be patient.

"Hi Pertamina friends, thank you for registering. We are currently doing optimization, be patient, we will be back soon," reads a statement on the website accessed on Friday July 1st.

The same thing also happened to the MyPertamina application which was observed not to be able to send a One Time Password (OTP) code when registering.

A number of Twitter users were also seen complaining about the MyPertamina application having an error when sending the OTP code.

"Then how do we poor people fill out pertalite if the application error is like this, mypertamina #mypertamina #pertalite #404," tweeted the account owner @nurdien_ardhi94.

"Mypertamina, how about verifying the error first, first fix the application @pertamina," wrote the account owner @xeungyouna.

Previously, Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting said that the purchase of Pertalite and Solar fuel types was still carried out as usual during the registration period.

At this stage, registration focuses on matching data between those registered by the community with documents and vehicle data owned.

"Starting on July 1, registration will be open until July 30, 2022. During this registration and transition period, people can still buy Pertalite and Solar, but we still encourage people to register their vehicles and identity. We also reiterate, it is not mandatory to have the MyPertamina application, but must register on the subsiditepat.mypertamina.id website, and this is specifically for four-wheeled vehicles," said Irto.

Irto ensured that the implementation of registration through the website was not to make it difficult for the community, but to protect vulnerable people who actually had the right to enjoy energy subsidies.
