Until March 2022, There Are Already 328 Distributors Of Single-price Fuel

JAKARTA - President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Alfian Nasution said, in the third week of March 2022, there were 328 channeling institutions spread throughout Indonesia.

As for the distribution, 63 One Price BBM distribution agencies are in the Papua region, 56 points in East Nusa Tenggara and West Nusa Tengga, 48 points in Maluku, 32 points in Sulawesi, 71 points in Kalimantan, 53 points in Sumatra, and 5 points in Sumatra. the islands of Java and Bali.

Alfian explained, since 2017, the implementation of the One Price BBM policy has focused on the leading, outermost, and underdeveloped (3T) regions.

Previously, this 3T area was an area that had not been touched by energy access at all.

So that to be able to reach the 3T point, Pertamina Patra Niaga distributes it through land, sea, and air transportation modes, also in collaboration with various parties.

"We will continue to ensure that the distribution and availability of fuel supply to the One Price BBM gas stations runs smoothly, on time, in the right quantity and with the right quality. Thus, the public can get access to fuel at an affordable price, as well as help boost the economy in the 3T area, "explained Alfian to reporters, Thursday, June 2.

However, Alfian said, in carrying out the mandate of the assignment from the government through the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), Pertamina Patra Niaga also faced considerable challenges in the process of distributing fuel to the 3T area.

“The distribution of One Price BBM is carried out between islands throughout Indonesia. To get to the 3T point, it is not uncommon to also pass through quite difficult terrain such as mountains and through rivers," he said.

This condition, he said, caused several changes in transportation modes, such as through tankers on land, ships and by plane.

"The team is also struggling with weather conditions and high rainfall. Despite these challenges, we are committed to carrying out this mandate," said Alfian.

Pertamina is also cooperating with partners who are interested in opening One-Price BBM gas stations to bring Indonesia forward through energy distribution to remote areas of the country, in predetermined locations.
