Ramayana Is Successful Because It Earns A Profit Of IDR 175.57 Billion But Can Divide Dividends Of IDR 188.23 Billion, How Come?

JAKARTA - Retail company PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) provides good news to its shareholders. They will distribute cash dividends worth IDR 188.23 billion.

In the company's information disclosure quoted on Wednesday, May 25, the cash dividend to be distributed is worth IDR 30 per share. The dividend amount is taken from the net profit for the 2021 financial year of IDR 175.57 billion, while the remaining IDR 17.66 billion is taken from retained earnings.

This year Cash dividend payments will begin on June 23, 2022, to RALS shareholders whose names are recorded in the company's shareholder register on June 3, 2022, until 15.15 WIB.

The cash dividend payment mechanism is carried out by the company by sending a check directly to the shareholders concerned or transferring it to the account of PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) to be paid to each shareholder.

- Cum Dividend in the Regular and Negotiated Market: Tuesday, May 31, 2022

- Ex-Dividend in the Regular and Negotiated Market: Thursday, June 2, 2022

- Ex-Dividend in Cash Market: Monday, June 6, 2022

As is known, RALS' profit increased quite significantly in 2021, following the net loss achieved by RALS in 2020 of IDR 138.87 billion. Meanwhile, during the first quarter of 2022, RALS has recorded a net income of IDR 600.53 billion, with a profit for the year of IDR 30 billion.

RALS recorded a positive operational level in the first quarter of 2022 with a decrease in operating expenses of 22.5 percent compared to the previous period.
